Developers are reporting that they have recently received Oculus’ new Santa Cruz device, the standalone 6DoF headset originally announced at last year’s Oculus Connect 4 conference.
Detailed specs for the device have proven elusive so far, but we do know that it will include newly-redesigned controllers with infrared LEDs and inside-out tracking. It has been rumoured that Facebook may reveal further details, including a release date, at its upcoming F8 conference in May.
