Announced at the recent Oculus Connect developer conference, ‘Crescent Bay’ is Oculus VR’s newest prototype headset. While the focus appears to be on audio (the unit features built-in removable headphones and custom audio software), Crescent Bay also has ‘new display technology’ and 360 deg head tracking. What the new display actually is, is unclear but it is rumoured to be the same 2560 x 1440 display used in the Galaxy Note 4. Refresh rate has also been improved.
