We have been reporting diligently on every new virtual reality device being developed, but we have had less to report on content for such devices. Nurulize is developing virtual realities that can be experienced by wearing a virtual reality headset.
So far the US-based company has been developing two realities, Rise VR and Desert Home. These realities are created by taking high resolution HDR images of the real world. After scanning, the images are translated into a digital model of reality that can be played back to the viewer taking into account the position of the viewer in the digital world.
While many would see this as the ultimate gaming platform, Desert Home is meant for relaxation and also for designing your own home by downloading objects and enhancing the experience. This is a very interesting concept and certainly interesting to experience. The following images give an idea of what this reality is about.
