What They Say
The BBC reviewed the latest Nreal Light AR glasses and found them a bit heavy and disliked the need to use a tethered Android smartphone. The reviewer found they sat quite high on the nose and thought the games available were more like tech demoes than games you would keep coming back to.
He also tried them as a secondary display on a notebook and found them in need of some hand recognition to avoid having to use a smartphone for app control. Nreal is said to be working on this.
What We Think
Overall the reviewer thought that the glasses were an interesting way to get a sense of what AR can do, but not compelling. (BR)
