Optics.org reported that a Danish optics firm, NIL Technology, is developing nanostructured flat optics for applications including AR/VR glasses and headsets. The firm told the site that its flat optics has 94% transmission and the firm said that it is already working with a number of headset developers. It has developed surface relief waveguides and a number of other elements, components and modules including for depth mapping.
