NIF Switches From Film to Laser

The Giant Screen Theatre at the National Infantry Museum in Georgia, USA has been upgraded from film to 6P laser, by Christie and D3D Cinema. Two Solaria CP42LH projectors were installed, throwing content onto the 12.2m x 21.9m screen. The National Infantry Foundation originally wanted a lamp-based model, but was convinced to switch to laser after seeing the Christie/D3D installation at Moody Garden in Texas (Moody Chooses Christie’s Laser). The modular nature of the system was also praised.
