Samsung’s newly-announced W2018 flip phone comes with a variable-aperture camera.
The W2018, which launches exclusively on China Telecom as part of its Heart of the World charity series, packs a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera with a f/1.5 aperture lens—the lowest on record—as well as dual-pixel auto-focus and optical image stabilisation. Additionally, the camera’s aperture can switch to f/2.4 for a deeper depth of field.
Besides its rear camera, the W2018 also features two 4.2″ 1080p Super AMOLED touchscreens, a rear fingerprint reader, NFC, a 5-megapixel f/1.9 internal camera and an iris scanner.
