According to Android Authority, LG is developing a G Flex 2 smartphone to be shown at CES 2015. The handset will have a high-resolution display, using a plastic-based OLED. It will have a smaller form factor than the original, and be more flexible. A ‘self-healing’ plastic coating, a feature of the original G Flex, will also be included on the new model.
In separate news CNet claims that LG is working on a tablet to rival Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3. It will be a hybrid model with a detachable keyboard.
Sources say that the tablet will use an Intel Haswell processor and feature an SSD. A keyboard touchpad system, similar to that on the Pro 3, is under consideration.
