New Digital Customer Experience Installed at Philadelphia Station

SEPTA and Intersection have teamed up to create a new and improved digital customer experience at Philadelphia’s Suburban Station.

Ten new interactive digital kiosks have been placed in the station, which welcomes 25,000 commuters every day.

As well as displaying real-time travel information and alerts, passengers can also peruse interactive maps and charge their mobile devices at one of the two charging stations fitted in each of the kiosks.

As part of the new customer experience, gigabit-speed Wi-Fi has also been installed by Intersection, which is said to be backed by Google and is involved with the LinkNYC project. (10,000 Touchscreens for New York)
