AFTVNews has said that Amazon is to introduce a new UltraHD HDR streaming STB that would sit between the current Fire Stick product at the low end and the current Fire TV box. It would be optimised for video, with HDR at 2160P60 but possibly not so good as the current top box for gaming. The site suggests that the box may run chips from Amlogic and that are used in the Xiaomi Mi Box and that the form factor may be a stick rather than a box.
