NEC Portrays the Future of Laser Projection at ISE 2019

NEC Display Solutions Europe will showcase its comprehensive range of industry-leading installation laser projectors at ISE 2019 in Amsterdam this February, including the first public view of its quietest-ever projector.

Visitors to NEC’s stand 5-R20 will get the chance to see NEC’s projectors in a range of different application scenarios, from digital signage to meeting and conferencing, higher education to large venues.

The range highlights NEC’s expertise in developing laser projectors for every purpose, all of which deliver outstanding brightness, perfect picture and colour performance, low-maintenance operation and low total cost of ownership (TCO).

These include NEC’s innovative OPS Slot-in PC interface, which enables users to choose from a wide variety of interchangeable compute modules, delivering smarter and simpler media playback integration without additional cables or external devices. The NEC laser projector range also features sealed light engines, enabling filter-free design that removes the need for maintenance and delivers a much lower TCO, making it perfect for digital signage applications.

With stable light output, consistent brightness of between 5,200 and 40,000 centre lumens and colour stability over the entire life cycle of the projector, laser projectors provide the perfect peace of mind for users in every light conditions.

For meeting and conferencing applications, NEC will be debuting its quietest-ever laser projector, the P525UL, which boasts outstanding low noise levels of just 22dB in Eco mode – quieter than the ticking of a watch. The P525UL is perfect for intimate spaces, enabling attendees to concentrate on presentations without the distraction of projector noise. Larger meeting rooms, meanwhile, are served by the PX1005QL which provides outstanding “pixel-free” visualisation at even the closest viewing distances.

Higher education establishments can take advantage of NEC’s laser-based projectors, which are designed on the “install and forget” principle. Ceiling-mounted installations in lecture halls often require enormous effort to access, but thanks to NEC’s projectors’ sealed optical light engine and filter-free design such worries are a thing of the past, with each projector boasting up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. Meanwhile all NEC laser projectors up to 10,000 ANSI lumen fall under Risk Group 2, NEC projectors require no safety precautions, further saving on installation and operation costs.

Finally, for large venues NEC will be showcasing its flagship PH3501QL model, featuring super-bright 40,000 centre lumen RB laser projection with real 4K resolution and wide colour space for an unforgettable viewing experience – perfect for multi-purpose sports and events halls, theatres, museums and leisure parks.

“Whatever the application, NEC has the perfect projector for your organisation’s needs,” said Wolfgang Haunschild, Product Marketing Manager at NEC Display Solutions Europe. “All our new generation laser projectors are fully future-proofed, with 4K UHD input processing that can handle the latest content formats. Furthermore, our NaViSet Administrator 2 software tool provides perfect control, ensuring that users can identify and correct issues before they become noticeable to the audience.”

“From lamp to laser, large auditorium to the smallest huddle space, drop by our stand for a demonstration of our technology-agnostic DLP and LCD based projector line-up and find out how which one will deliver the ‘wow factor’ for your organisation,” concluded Haunschild.
