Sharp/NEC Finalize M Series Monitor Line

Sharp NEC Display Solutions of America (SNDSA) and Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) have released new professional-grade displays, NEC MultiSync M861 and M981. These displays are intended for a variety of professional environments like corporate boardrooms, retail spaces, command/control centers, and are the latest additions to the M Series large-format displays.

The M861 and M981 are available with 86” and 98” diagonal screens respectively. They come with 500 cd/m2 anti-glare panels, making them suitable for commercial use due to their backlight intensity. These displays come with a range of high-quality features that improve flexibility and usage for digital signage and corporate conferencing. These features range from enhanced color control capabilities, quick start features, multiple picture modes, and complete input detection.

The manufacturers say they kept features users love while updating to new standards and ensuring the products are robust yet more streamlined and lightweight for easier installation. Advanced connectivity options are available, including adding Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, which offers flexibility in business operations. Compared to their predecessors, these displays offer better speaker quality, as well.
