Although mainly aimed at corporate, command and control, and financial industries, the monitor supports calibration using the SpectraViewII EA Kit, which includes NEC’s SpectraViewII Software and a Datacolor Spyder5 calibration sensor, is available as a separate option (SVII-EA-KIT, minimum advertised price of $199) or bundled with the 24-inch monitor as the EA245WMi-BK-SV display at a minimum advertised price of $549. Uniformity correction is included. The monitor alone costs $399 in the US.

The monitor has a three year warranty and will be available this month.

Bizarrely, given that one of the main features of this monitor is the industrial design, our search for an image led us to the NEC US website which seemed to have an image of a different model, with wider bezels. Maybe somebody thought that “all monitors look the same”? Anyway, the firm’s PR company found the image in this article for us. Thanks to them. (BR)
