NEC Display Solutions Celebrates ISE 2016 Success

NEC

NEC Display Solutions Europe has concluded a successful ISE 2016 showcasing ‘your world is our showroom’. ISE 2016, this year extended to include an extra day named FRDY, highlighted NEC’s innovation in LCD, LED and Laser technologies, touch and interactivity and sensor technologies.

Each were showcased in a unique application-focused showroom created with key NEC ecosystem partners.

Stefanie Corinth, Senior Vice President Marketing and Business Development at NEC, commented: “Our presence at ISE this year was very much about demonstrating how we deliver on our customers’ needs. We presented visual solutions that showed not only our innovation around LCD, LED and Laser, but also our focus on dedicated applications to enable real business benefits.”

The NEC booth was designed around five key application themes: share, present, analyse, review and control, applied to a number of vertical industries. NEC, together with its partners, showcased effective solutions and applications such as in corporate, retail, education, broadcast and digital out of home.

NEC also took part in the Opening Panel Keynote of ISE 2016, featuring Wired UK editor David Rowan and NEC’s Bernd Eberhardt, amongst others. The panel explored the future of the converging worlds of AV and IT, and the increasing role of sensors. Throughout the event, a team including Adrian Cotterill from DailyDOOH also produced over 40 videos interviewing leading figures from the technology and display industries, on the NEC stand.

Stefanie adds: “ISE this year was a great success for NEC Display Solutions – we welcomed many visitors to the stand, a huge increase of over 60% compared to 2015. The additional day of ISE was also a great success, ensuring that more people could explore the possibilities of visual experiences and spend time understanding how it can help meet their business objectives.”
