MWC 2021 Shows the Potential of 5G with Simulated Reality

Representatives from the most important names in the global mobile industry gather at the ?Fira ?Gran Via in Barcelona for ?Mobile World Congress. (MWC 2021). The central theme of the four-day event is the emergence of 5G and? the? new opportunities it will bring.

Orange and Huawei have joined forces with Dimenco to showcase the potential of 5G combined with Simulated Reality (SR), one of the most important developments in spatial technologies to date.

5G will bring? out the best in? Simulated Reality (SR)

At? MWC 2021? in ?Barcelona,?Orange and Huawei?will?demonstrate the power of Simulated Reality in visualisation, simulation and remote collaboration. Visitors will be able to interact with a virtual object as if it were physical, almost tangible. All based on Dimenco’s SR technology without any wearables.

SR? has an extensive range of applications, the performance of which, is greatly elevated when paired with?ultra-fast data transmission, large bandwidth and low latency which is why? 5G will facilitate SR in reaching optimum?performance potential?and impact.

While the technology’s creators are confident in the wide-reaching applications of?SR, ?they also realise that users and developers must?experience it to understand the true potential. It is for this reason that the creators of SR are committed to reaching the widest possible audience in order for more people to experience this technology and comprehend its abilities.

Immersive ?3D experience without ?any wearables

SR is a completely new way to experience and?interact with 3D objects in a virtual environment.?It enables users to interact with digital objects as if they were real, without?the need for headsets or other wearables. Dimenco, the creators of SR technology are turning science fiction into fact?with?a drive toward reshaping the future of human-computer interaction, inspired by, for instance, Blade Runner and?Minority?Report. This?Netherlands-based technology group is?transforming the hologram-filled visions of the future into immersive and interactive experiences of today.?

SR and 5G – A Union to be Reckoned With With a combination of the growth of 5G availability and the announcement of the first SR laptop last May, this year marks a significant shift into optimal spatial computing of the future. Both technologies are, in their own right, considerably increasing the standard of user experience. Combined, however, these technologies will provide limitless boundaries to achieve full immersion. Whoever you are. Wherever you are.
