Prad.de reported that MSI has talked about a new MEG Artymis 341 gaming monitor that is a 34″ unit with miniLED backlight, based on AUO AmLED technology. The dynamic optimisation of the panel/BLU combination is reported to modify refresh, contrast and colour in real time to match content.
The site said that ‘information… is still thin’ but the new monitor is said to have curvature of 1000R and certification is to DisplayHDR 1000. WCG is courtesy of QDs.
The company is also looking at introducing two OLED monitors for gamers in 32″ and 55″ and with UltraHD resolution and refresh of at least 133Hz. More information is ‘pending’.
