While we will cover MMD’s newest monitor in our SID report, we felt that it was worth pulling out and highlighting it here, as well. The 27E6ADS, which has been launched in China, is a Philips-branded model that is said to be the world’s first quantum dot monitor.
>The 27″ display uses optical components from QD Vision, and achieves 99% coverage of the Adobe RGB gamut. Its 1920 x 1080 resolution display is intended for use in colour-critical work, as well as gaming.
MMD has said that the E6 monitor line (27E6ADSW) will be launched in Europe, the USA and Korea by the end of the year.
