Mitsubishi Electric has once again (this is the fourth) supplied a large LED display to the Hong Kong Jockey Club (we reported on the last one in 2009!). The new display is an SMD black packaged type that is 53.76m wide and 6.08mm high and has 3.2 million pixels at a pitch of 10mm. The first and second displays installed were CRT-based with 90mm and 40mm pitch, while in 2001 it supplied a 20mm LED that was 35.2m x 8m initially but was increased to 47.04m x 8m in 2009.
