After last week’s talk of problems with the Microsoft Hololens and its challenges in the big defence contract that it has in the US, VR Times reports Microsoft chief AI and Cloud executive Scott Guthrie as sayin in an internal email that the MR headset for the U.S. military has reached a “huge milestone” and is undergoing an ‘operational test’.
What We Think
Clearly somebody at Microsoft still loves this project. The ‘leak’ does suggest that Microsoft management wants to avoid the project being talked down too much. (BR)
