Mercedes-Benz has released an augmented reality-based companion app for its 2018 E and S-class vehicles. ‘Ask Mercedes’ is free to download from the iOS App Store and enables users to explore the car’s features via AR beacons.
The beacons link to how-to videos and a digital edition of the owner’s manual. A virtual assistant is also on-hand to answer questions the driver may have about their vehicle.
