MEN’s Railway Display Meets International Standards

MEN Micro has developed a robust panel PC for railway applications, conforming to the UIC 612 standard (for driver machine interfaces).

The DC15 has a 10.4″ LCD display and IP65-compliant housing. It can withstand temperatures between -40° and 70°, or up to 85° for 10 minutes. The unit is also certified for EN 50155, an international standard covering electronic equipment used for rolling stock in railway applications, covering parameters such as temperature, shock, humidity and vibration resistance.

Able to display train functions, MEN Micro’s panel PC is designed to optimise speed as well as manage a full fleet of vehicles. It can connect to a rail network through universal methods such as CAN or MVB (optional) interfaces. It also features GPIO, USB 2.0, RS232 and RJ45 (x2) ports.

The display features optically-bonded and anti-glare cover glass. It has 1024 x 768 resolution, 160° viewing angles and 350 cd/m² of brightness. The PC itself runs on an AMD G-series 1.4GHz dual-core processor, with 2GB of RAM and 4GB of storage.

MEN Micro is selling the DC15 now; price is on application.
