Matrox Wins Four Prestigious Industry Awards at InfoComm 2016

Matrox® today announced that its new Monarch™ LCS lecture capture appliance, Mura™ IPX 4K IP decode & display multiviewer cards, Maevex™ 6100 multi-channel 4K encoders and C900 nine-output graphics cards were the recipients of four of the industry’s most prestigious technology honors presented at InfoComm 2016.

A panel of on-site AV professionals judged new and outstanding products exhibited at InfoComm 2016 on their ability to solve meaningful problems for tech managers. NewBay Media’s 2016 InfoComm Best of Show Awards were awarded from Tech & Learning to the Monarch LCS lecture capture appliance, from AV Technology to the Mura IPX 4K IP decode & display cards, from Sound & Video Contractor to the Maevex 6100 encoders, and from Digital Signage Magazine to the C900 graphics cards.

“The 2016 Best of Show Winners were recognized because they truly solve problems rather than create them,” stated Margot Douaihy, editorial director of AV Technology. “There are literally thousands of new products on display at InfoComm, by more than 900 manufacturers, but the Best of Show winners stand apart. Our five expert judges evaluated each product on the show floor based on the proposed value proposition/ROI, richness and relevance of the feature set, perceived ease of installation, ease of management, and user friendliness.”

“We’re honored that AV professionals selected our products for these awards and to be a part of the solution,” said Dan Maloney, technical marketing manager, Matrox Video. “Matrox works hard to be an industry leader by providing stable, high-reliability products for a wide range of applications, including lecture capture, AV-over-IP, digital signage, and real-time streaming.”

Matrox Monarch LCS is an easy-to-use two-input lecture capture appliance that can be easily integrated into video management systems (VMS) and learning management systems (LMS).

Matrox Mura IPX Series 4K IP decode & display cards enable high-density, IP-based multiviewers and personal video walls for control rooms, process monitoring, and security applications.

Matrox C900 nine-output graphics cards are the world’s first boards to uniquely power 3×3 or 9×1 video walls, and its single-slot design make building video walls easy for digital signage, presentation, and control room applications.

Matrox Maevex 6100 Series multi-channel PCIe® card and appliance-based encoders capture four, up-to-4Kp30 inputs for world-class, real-time encoding and live streaming & recording applications.
