The CEO of Taiwan Display (a subsidiary of Japan Display), Jeff Hsu, said that he expects LTPS panels to become mainstream in mobile phones in 2-3 years. According to Hsu, JDI currently has a production capacity (for 5″ LTPS panels) of 360 million units annually, rising to 860 million in 2015.
