LG Smart TVs Add MasterClass Streaming for Educational Content Access

This month, LG Smart TV owners can access MasterClass, the streaming platform offering various subjects taught by industry professionals. The MasterClass app is available on LG Smart TVs running webOS 4.0 (2018 TVs) up to the recently launched 2023 models, and can be found in LG’s Content Store or accessed through voice command on Life’s Good Hub.

MasterClass subscribers have access to over 180 instructors and classes covering categories such as Arts & Entertainment, Business, Design & Style, Sports & Gaming, and Writing. Users can learn from Roy Choi, Elaine Welteroth, Chris Voss, Indra Nooyi, Esther Perel, and many more experts across different fields.

New and existing subscribers can watch lessons at their own pace, with each class featuring approximately 20 video lessons at an average of 10 minutes per lesson. The platform also offers Sessions by MasterClass, a structured curriculum that provides hands-on learning through step-by-step guidance from instructors and an active community of peers.

By integrating MasterClass into its Smart TVs, LG aims to provide diverse home entertainment experiences tailored to consumers’ preferences and needs, with plans to launch additional educational services later this year.
