LG Display showed a new 30″ transparent OLED panel at Innotrans in Berlin at the end of September. The new size is shown in a YouTube video. OLED Info reported that the 30″ display has 45% transparency.
What We Think
LG Display also said that it uses a ‘suspended particle device’ in the glass to reinforce the glass and also to block up to 99% of the light to allow the display of blacks when the SPD is on. I’m planning a dig into that technology for a forthcoming DD. (BR)
