LG and Unruly offer smart TV inventory

Video advertising platform Unruly has announced a global partnership with LG Electronics that enables advertisers around the world to access native smart TV ad placements through its supply-side platform (SSP), UnrulyX. LG will also use Unruly’s self-service platform to manage and optimise its own sold campaigns globally.

What We Think

The SmartTV business opportunity has turned out to be a very long game. I sometimes wonder if brands had realised how difficult it would be to turn the technology into a business opportunity, they would have pursued the challenge. (BR)
