LG and Samsung have both taken multiple CES 2016 Innovation Awards: 21 and 38, respectively. Winning products for LG included the 77″ UltraHD OLED TV, V10 smartphone and G Watch Urbane 2nd Edition; other winners will be announced on the 5th January. Samsung winners included the Gear S2 smartwatch; Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone; Galaxy View tablet; and Gear VR headset. Over the last 10 years, Samsung has won 309 CES Innovation awards.
At the same time, LG took home seven ‘Best of the Year’ awards from USA Today‘s Reviewed.com. The EF9500 flat OLED TV won Best TV for the second year running, as well as Best 4k TV. Other awards went to WebOS 2.0 and a range of home appliances.
