Michael Sheehan, Coordinating Director of NBC Olympics, has announced that the company has selected Leyard to provide fine pitch LED video walls for its production of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games, which will take place in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9th – 25th February, 2018.
The Leyard TWS Series claims to be “a family of versatile, ultra-fine pitch LED video wall displays with a convenient 27” diagonal, all-in-one design that fits a broad range of fine pitch broadcast environments including convex curved or traditional video wall in large or small spaces”. The TWS series is available in pixel-pitch options between 0.9 to 1.8mm and can output resolutions of 1080p, 2160p and 4320p, with multi-touch capabilities available on select models.
