Leyard announced the new VM Series using its Planar brand as a family of narrow bezel FullHD LCD video wall displays with 55″ diagonal and a narrow bezel width of 1.8mm (0.9mm + 0.9mm) or 3.5mm and with brightness of 500 or 700 cd/m². The VM55LX-U has 500 cd/m² with 3.5mm, while the VM55MX-X and VM55LX-X both have 1.8mm bezels and 700 and 500cd/m², respectively.
The units use IPS panels and can be used in landscape or portrait mode and are rated for 24/7 operation. There is integrated scaling for arrays up to 10 x 10 units and with HDCP 2.2 loop through. Inputs include HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 (with loopthrough) and the units have OPS modules for flexibility.
