Longda says its 32” mini LEDs divide the backlight into 384 control areas for high dynamic contrast, and its unique wide colour gamut LED technology enables panel colour performance to exceed 95% of the NTSC colour gamut. This product has been shipped in volume and is currently used in e-sports and high-end graphics displays, the company said.

Meanwhile, another 15.6″ mini LED backlight product uses an advanced version of the thin mini LED panel, which divides the backlight into 240 control areas. Through optical configuration, the panel can be thinned to less than 0.5 mm. The company says its thin-filmed backlit mini LED panels can achieve high contrast and wide colour gamut and can be applied to high-end notebooks, e-sports displays and automotive panels.
