Lenovo Splits Mobile Unit by Brand

Following the completion of the integration of Motorola Mobility (Lenovo Realigns Businesses Following Mergers), Lenovo Group has split its mobile business by brand.

Vice president Zhang Hui will be responsible for global sales of the Lenovo brand, while VP Colin Giles, who is a former Nokia executive, will handle global sales of Motorola smartphones. The two brands are expected to complement each other worldwide but in China will be competitive brands.
