Ledcon Systems GmbH of Germany has completed the installation of 480m² of video wall technology at the Allianz-Arena of Bayern Munich after the company won a contract in February 2017,
There are around 200 m² of the company’s UPix6 LED displays with a resolution of nearly UltraHD and that the company believes are the biggest stadium displays in Europe. The LED displays also have video walls on the rear for the benefit of those behind the displays. The new displays double the video area compared to the previous installation and the company said that the load capacity of the roof and the integration in the control systems of the arena were particular challenges.
