Sixteen Nine regularly shows digital signage installations. This one, at a car rental desk, looks particularly interesting as it seems to show an application that would have, up to now, been supported by multiple LCDs, but has now switched to LED.
What We Think
It’s a couple of years since we reported the Dubai airport as saying that it had switched completely away from LCD to LED. Most environments still don’t have the money to do this, but airports have been high revenue locations for quite a long time, alththough Covid has set things back significantly this year. (BR)
