Reports on the Leap Motion tech in the Qualcomm VRDK

Last week, we reported on the launch of the Qualcomm VRDK development kit at the GDC, which features the latest Leap Motion hand tracking technology. Later, we spotted a detailed review of the new headset on the RoadtoVR blog. The reviewer was very impressed with the hand tracking – to quote ” it felt like an incredibly easy and natural way to use my own two hands to control my VR experience”. However, while the lack of controllers seemed more intuitive, switches and clear hardware controls are still important.
