Leader Instruments said that at the NAB show it will show enhancements to its LV5490 waveform monitor to support new formats.
The LV5490SER07 HDR option enables the LV5490 to measure both 4K and HD HDR in ITU.BT.2100 Hybrid Log Gamma, Dolby PQ or Sony SLog-3 protocols
Other options available for the LV5490 multiscreen waveform monitor include HDR measurement. This employs an HDR display using Leader’s Cinezone false colors to highlight areas of concern when operating with HDR content. The Leader HDR display supports SMPTE ST2084 (Dolby PQ curve), ARIB STD B-67 (BBC/NHK Hybrid Log Gamma) and SLog3.
