Three Asus Republic of Gaming monitors will be on sale in the UK soon, through online outlet Overclockers.com. The PG279Q (Asus Focuses on Colour at Computex) and PG278Q (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 3) will go on sale in November; they can be pre-ordered now, for £625 ($965) and £665 ($1,025), respectively. The PG348Q (IFA 2015 Roundup) may not arrive until January, but can be pre-ordered for £1,000 .
In addition to the X930C and X940C (Sony Tells HDR Story), Sony has announced that it will add HDR compatibility to its X850C, X900C and X910C TVs. These existing models will receive support via a network update, available soon. Beginning this autumn, Sony customers purchasing a compatible UltraHD TV will receive $100-worth of HDR content, including films such as The Amazing Spider Man 2, through the Amazon Video app.
