The Roku TVs from Haier America, which we saw at CES, have been launched in the USA. These models, in 32″, 43″, 49″ and 55″ sizes, integrate the Roku smart TV system directly. They cost $300 (32E4000R), $450 (43E4500R), $600 (49E4500R) and $750 (55E4500R).
The 40″, 50″ and 55″ TVs in Hisense‘s K321 range are now available in Europe. Revealed in May, these are LCD units with UltraHD resolution. They feature HDMI (x2), USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as an integrated DVR.
The S8505C, a curved UltraHD Sony TV announced at CES 2015 (Sony’s TV is Slimmer Than a Smartphone) is now available in Europe. Part of the S85C line, the TV – in 55″ (KD-55S8505C) and 65″ (KD-65S8505C) sizes – features a twin tuner, Android TV and Triluminos colour. It will not be launched in the USA, we hear. Prices start at £1,500 ($2,350) for the 55″ and £2,085 ($3,265) for the 65″.
