Laser Touch Built in to Mini Projector

An Indiegogo campaign has been launched for a mini interactive projector. The Lazertouch can produce a 20″ – 150″ image, with finger or pen touch enabled through a laser curtain emitted from the projector.

Android 4.4 enables the projector to work much like a tablet, with access to the Play Store. Miracast and Airplay protocols are also built in. Lazertouch promises that there is no need for calibration – but, if it is required, calibration can be accomplished with ‘one touch’.

Projection distance is 1m – 7.2m (1.2:1 throw ratio). The projector can output images at resolutions up to 1280 x 720, at 250 lumens of brightness and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio.

A 1.2GHz quad-core CPU runs the Android OS, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. A 13,600mAh battery is built in, with HDMI and USB (x2) ports.

Dimensions are 135 x 195 x 38mm. The projector can be backed on Indiegogo now for $475; the eventual MSRP will be $650.
