Kyocera DuraForce Pro Wins iF Design Award 2017

Kyocera has own an iF Design Award 2017 for its DuraForce Pro rugged smartphone which has a ‘military-grade’ (Military Standard 810G) rugged and waterproof (IP68 – 30 minutes at 2 metres) design, with a super wide view and 13 MP on the rear, 5 MP on the front. It has an underwater camera mode and the touch system works with gloved hands and with wet hands. The speaker is extra loud. The display is a 5″ FullHD IPS display that is described as ‘impact-resistant’, but with no clarification of glass type. The battery has a capacity of 3240mAh for 20 hours of talk time. The device runs Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and the processor is an MSM8952 octacore Snapdragon. RAM is 2GB and flash is 32GB. The phone also won an award at CES.
