The ETNews in Korea said that Korean display manufacturing equipment companies are having a good year because of the strong investment by Korean panel makers in OLED fabs. The paper highlighted SFA, AP Systems, HB Technology and DMS. SFA is reported to have also done well from supplying glass making equipment to Corning. SEMES moved from a loss in Q2 to a profit in Q3 as display equipment went from 16.57% to 28.15% as a share of its business. AP Systems was up in sales by 42% as it sold LLO (Laser Lift-Off) and ELA (Excimer Laser Annealing) equipment.
