KOE has developed a new 7″ display module, with ‘the latest generation’ of IPS technology. The TX18D205VM0BAA, part of KOE’s Rugged+ line, is said to feature a wider operating temperature range and improved optical performance.
The panel’s operating temperature has been extended, from -30° – +80° to -40° – +85°. Storage temperature will reach up to 90°. KOE says that the panel, like other Rugged+ models, follows the ‘exacting standards’ used in automotive display modules. It is designed for use in high-reliability industrial, medical, marine, automotive and aerospace applications. The panel is resistant to shock, vibration, electro-static discharge and temperature variation.
Resolution is 800 x 480. Response time is 30ms, with 170° viewing angles, a 60Hz refresh rate and 800 cd/m² of brightness. A 40-pin CMOS interface, supporting 6-bit RGB data, is featured.
Another 7″ module has been introduced at the same time: the TX18D206VM0BAA is identical to the TX18D205VM0BAA, but features a 20-pin LVDS interface.
Both new units are available now. Price is on application.
