KOE Europe’s new 5″ TFT-LCD display module uses a TN panel, but has ‘IPS-like’ performance.
Many embedded, medical and industrial applications demand colour uniformity. KOE’s TX13D06VM5BAA is said to provide stable colour uniformity over an 80° viewing angle in both horizontal and vertical directions. 6-bit RGB is supported by the 40-pin CMOS interface.
The module has 800 x 480 resolution and 800 cd/m² of brightness. Contrast ratio is 400:1. An anti-glare polariser film is also integrated. Dimensions are 120 x 80.7 x 80mm, and the unit will operate in -30° to 80° temperatures.
