What They Say
Graphics and optics specialist, and occasional Display Daily contributor, Karl Guttag, has released a couple of presentations that he has created for two events in the last couple of months. He presented at the New York Augmented Reality Meetup in December and at the Bay Area VR-AR-XR Creators Meetup in January. It is around two hours of presentations, Guttag said on his site.
He also recommended a presentation by Bernard Kress of SPIE that he gave recently on Optical Architectures and Technologies for Smart Glasses, AR, VR and MR Headsets (although he warned that it something of an ad for some paid sessions.
What We Think
I have to admit that I haven’t got to these presentations, yet, but do plan to. I have a copy of Kress’s excellent SPIE book on optics for AR/VR and MR. (BR)
