Work on Apple’s forthcoming iPhone X is reported to still be struggling with a production issue with its camera’s 3D sensor. The issues relate to the dot projector element of the smartphone’s TrueDepth camera, and are creating a production bottleneck.
Despite the delays, the device is still believed to be on course to enter mass production in mid-October. Pre-orders for the iPhone X open on October 27th, ahead of its official release on November 3rd.
