Internet Advertising Top in 2015

The European Audiovisual Observatory released its data on the development of advertising revenues in Europe (including Russia and Turkey). It found that in 2015, internet advertising went past TV to become the top segment for the same time. Outdoor advertising revenue is slowly growing and looks on course to overtake magazine advertising as that segment is declining (down 27% since 2011), along with newspapers, which are down 26% since 2011. TV advertising revenue remains broadly stable. The observatory said that it is adding data on 2016.
