Most of Netflix’s subscribers will be outside the USA by 2018, according to IHS Markit. Currently the firm has 79.9 million total subscribers; by 2020, IHS expects it to have 75 million subscribers outside the US, breaking 100 million total in 2018. International subs will grow 38% this year, compared to overall growth of 21%. By 2020, 53% of Netflix’s forecast $13 billion revenues will come from non-domestic markets.
