Insight Media Covers Better Pixels in New White Papers

Insight Media, a source of in-depth technical news and analysis for the display trade, has published several new white papers covering the ‘Better Pixels’ movement (registration required).

The first white paper, ‘The Status of Wide Colour Gamut UHD TVs’, provides an overview of the wide colour gamut and high dynamic range ecosystems. It covers the approaches and benefits, as well as news from CES about new and planned TV models with these features.

The second white paper is titled ‘Better Pixels for Professional Projectors’. It aims to define what ‘better pixels’ are for the projector market; how they will benefit professional users; and the implications for the content-to-display pipeline. The main focus of the paper is cinema – the key professional application for video content today. As well as pro AV, the consumer TV market is discussed in relation to the better pixels ecosystem.

Finally is Insight Media’s CES coverage: ‘High Dynamic Range and Wide Colour Gamut Ecosystem News from CES 2016’. The report deals with wide colour gamut and high dynamic range news from CES 2016.
