Ingram Micro has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Grupo AÇÃO, a Brazil-based IT distributor. AÇÃO stocks high-value products from companies such as IBM and VMWare, as well as providing integration services, sales support and financial services. Its operations span the Latin America region.
The transaction, subject to customary regulatory and other closing conditions, is expected to be closed in late Q4’15. Financial terms were not disclosed.
AÇÃO is expected to add more than $300 million in annual value-add solutions revenue to Ingram Micro.
