InFocus’ new large-venue DLP projector series, the IN5310a models have a filter-free design and are suitable for 24/7 operation, 365 days a year.
Two models are part of the range: the 6,000-lumen IN5312a, with 1024 x 768 resolution, and the 5,000-lumen IN5316HDa, with 1920 x 1080 resolution. They are otherwise identical. Each is designed to be a valid choice for organisations desiring high-brightness and 3D projection on a budget.
Flexibility is important, so both models feature short- (0.77:1), standard- (1.66-2:1 (IN5312a) or 1.54-1.93:1 (IN5316HDa)) and long-throw (1.93-2.89:1) lenses. They are compatible with AMX Device Discovery and feature lens shift (5 deg horizontal, +/-40 deg vertical) and keystone correction (+/-40 deg vertical) capabilities.
Contrast ratio is 2,000:1. A 370W lamp is used, lasting for between 1,500 and 3,000 hours. DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI-D, S-Video, component, composite, VGA (x2) and RJ45 ports are featured, as well as two 3W speakers.
The IN5310a projectors measure 430 x 338 x 175mm and weigh 8.6kg. They are available worldwide today, for $2,900 (IN5312a) and $4,400 (IN5316HDa).
