Infnitus d.o.o. of Ljubljana,Slovenia has released three new E Ink-based outdoor displays in its imotionInk range with 13.3″, 2 X 13.3″ and 32″ sizes. The displays are sealed to IP66 and have optically-bonded front glass panels and they feature VESA monitors for ease of mounting. The displays have wired ethernet and 3G connectivity and a battery that can act as a short term UPS. External LED illumination is available as an option.
The displays are rated for temperatures from 0ºC to 50ºC which can be extended at the low end to -20ºC using an add-on heater. At lower temperatures, the display continues to operate, but loses the ability to display grey scales.
